Custom fitting is offered with or without instruction. Below is a description of the fitting options offered at the Precision Golf Academy. Driver Fitting ……..…………………$90.00
The driver in golf has become one of the most important clubs in the bag. A premium has been placed on distance in the game like never before. With a driver fitting, we’ll strive to maximize distance while maintaining accuracy. You’ll be custom fitted for all variables that will influence ball flight. You’ll be fitted for optimal launch angle, ball speed, face angle, loft, shaft flex and weight, club length, and grip size and style. At Precision Golf, we have driver lofts all the way up to 19 degrees! If you’re looking for that extra 15 to 20 yards, book a driver fitting today!
Fairway Woods / Hybrids ….……………$90.00
Fairway woods and hybrids make up the long game clubs in your bag. They’re vitally important for all golfers, and if you don’t hit the ball as far as you used too, they’re even more important for you. During this fitting, we’ll fill in the gaps between your driver and your longest iron you play. We’ll make sure you have a long wood you can hit well, with enough launch angle for maximum distance. We’ll fill in your set with high lofted fairway woods or hybrids, depending on your preferences and how well you hit them. All variables are fit precisely, including optimal loft, face angle, shaft weight, length and flex, and grip style and size. Have the right clubs in your bag for those long par 4’s or to go for that par 5 in two.
Iron Set Fitting ……………………$90.00
Irons are the clubs in your bag designed for accuracy and precision. With this fitting, as with all fittings, we’ll begin by discussing your game and desired outcomes from custom fitting. Then we’ll begin your fitting using our unique club connecting systems and launch monitor to fit you with the very best shaft for your swing. Once we’ve determined the best shaft for you (graphite or steel, length, weight and flex) we’ll use that shaft to test different clubhead combinations. We offer irons from Henry Griffitts, Mizuno, Callaway, Miura, Scratch, and other brands. You can test and try any shaft / clubhead combination available. You’ll be fitted for the best clubhead design, shaft, loft and lie angle for your swing, and any grip style and size you want. We’ll discuss the best set make-up for you, including possible hybrids and wedges to complete your set.
Yes! Putter Custom Fitting ……………$195.00
We’ve tested many putters on the market, and haven’t found any that perform better than the putters offered from Yes! Golf. Yes! Putters have a special C groove on the face, that start the ball rolling sooner than any putter on the market. They offer a wide variety of putters and styles, one for every type of golfer. We’ll fit you for the best putter for your stroke, and customize the putter for all variables, including length, swing weight, lie angle, loft, and dynamic loft at impact, ensuring proper roll. This fitting is included in the price of a Yes! Putter. *Some models may be more than the price listed.
Wedge Fitting ……………………........$45.00
With a wedge fitting, we’ll fit you for the type of wedges you should use, based on your swing. Every golfer has a unique angle of attack, some steeper, some more shallow than others. You’ll benefit from a sole grind that compliments how steep or shallow you come into the ball. We’ll help you find the perfect set of wedges, and custom fit them for the best shaft, flex, loft, length, grip size and style. We’ll use launch monitor technology to make sure that the wedges you carry gap perfectly with your iron set.
The short game is the most important area of the game for scoring. Attack the pin with a perfect set of wedges for your game!
Ball Fitting ……………………………$25.00
Play the best golf ball for your swing. Get fitted with our proprietary ball fitting computer software program that works with the launch monitor to match your swing to the best ball for your game, maximizing distance and accuracy. You can even test your ball against others and see how it performs. The program is objective, and has a data base with over 80 different golf balls, so you can be sure you’re playing the best ball for you.
Comprehensive Full Fitting …………$200.00
This is a comprehensive fitting that includes a ball fitting and every club in your bag. You’ll be custom fitted for a driver, fairway woods/hybrids, irons, wedges and a putter. A package price for a complete custom fitting.
Custom Fitting for Juniors …………… Free
I believe it’s important to help Juniors get started in golf the right way. The best junior golf equipment I’ve been able to find is from U.S. Kids Golf. This is a wonderful company that offers custom fitted golf clubs for kids, fitted properly based on height and strength. Each set of clubs is made appropriately for different age and skill levels, with different shaft lengths, shaft flexes, and clubhead weight. Sets are available for boys and girls of all ages, both right and left handed. They also offer wonderful accessories for kids -- golf balls, gloves, towels and hats. The fitting for U.S. Kids Golf Clubs is included in the price.
